Sega Game Gear

Essentially a portable version of the Sega Mark III/Sega Master System, the Sega Game Gear was overshadowed by the overwhelming popularity of the technically inferior Nintendo Gameboy. Like Atari's Lynx, the Game Gear's lack of success proved that a technically superior handheld system did not guarantee popularity. Masaya made only one game for the Game Gear.
