My new Sega cushions from Shimamura

Shimamura has come through again, this time with block cushions. This time I was late, as these were released in September. I learned about these by doing a web search. Like those Sega pillows I bought last year, these are detailed on the underside and since these are block cushions, the sides are detailed too.

Neat stuff.

  1. These pillows are so freaking cool. I would get some myself if I could afford them lol. A Super Nintendo or Nintendo 64 would be hard to resist.

    1. Yeah, I’d go for a Super Famicom one in a heartbeat. The Super Nintendo was my introduction to import gaming when I was in college. I really lucked out with finding these Sega cushions because these products were released at the end of September and I did not find out about them until this past week when I found this link:
https://puchipurabu.com/shimamura-game-20230930/ Here are what those items are:
      A. cushion B. storage box C. tissue box cover D. hand towel E face towel F bath towel
Last night I looked for the storage boxes and cushions and could only find those cushions. I need to go back and look for those towels!

They do have items with Mario, Kirby, and Pokemon characters, but I’ve never seen any retro game console-related items from Nintendo at that store. Shimamura has done great stuff with the Sega license over the years. I have a Saturn T-shirt, a Saturn sweat pajama set, a Dreamcast jumper, and another jumper that features the Master System, Megadrive, Saturn, and Dreamcast. I really wish I had bought that set of Megadrive sweat pajamas those many years ago, but unfortunately I could only afford one at the time. I took pictures of those jumper jackets and posted them on my Tumblr feed. I’ll post them on here right now. Thanks for the comment!
