Background:
When it comes to good fighting games this one definitely has it all. It's a great game and it's really fun by yourself or with another person. Not only is it a rare Gundam game but it's awesome. The controls are responsive and the buttons are mapped out perfectly. The graphics look great this 2d fighter has a lot of detail. Replaying this game is probably a must and at different difficulty settings. All of the Gundams from the series are in it. They are Heavyarms, Wing, Wing 0, Sandrock,
Deathscythe, Epyon (Special Mech), Mercrius, Vaeayte, Tall Geese, and Shenlong. They're all there and look great they look just like them in the TV Show on Cartoon Networks Toonami. This is one heck of a game and I love it. It was totally worth tracking it down. It's a great fighting game and can definitely stand up to the Street Fighter Series. Gundam fans will love this game plus fighting game fans should also get a kick out of this game.
Control: 10
This is one of the parts where the game shines. The mechs may be slow but in the shows they are about the same speed. Using weapons and special moves are easy to execute in this game with a few combinations of buttons and the control pad. There are a great variety of moves ranging from shooting a gun to attacking with your using your fists. The control of this game reminds me of Super Street Fighter II for the SNES as they both share the same characteristics. Great control and easy special moves!
Music/Sound: 9
One of the weaker parts in the game. The music is pretty good and sounds great but I don't think it really goes with the game. Also the music doesn't have the same effect of Street Fighters the get up and go kind of music. All of the sounds in the game sound great and there's a lot of them. From shooting your gun and making contact to hearing your mech move. There's a great variety of sounds in this game and it keeps it really exciting but the game needs some work on the music. I realize the game was made in 93 but it could have had some more up to date music for the game.

Graphics/Level Design: 10
The graphics are great looking. This 2d fighter shines and looks great. The Gundams look just like they do on TV and show a lot of detail. They are detailed to the finest little things and look great. The edges are smooth and the moves are fast and smooth. The levels are really cool and have a lot of stuff in the background. You can see mobile suites on some levels or towns in others that look great. There only 2d but the backgrounds and everything looks great even today for how old it is.

Replayability 8
The game is really fun and if you like Gundams and fighting games you'll play if forever by yourself or with a friend. I played the
game forever over and over with different Gundams till I beat it and I still wasn't bored after that but hey I love Gundams. The 2
player mode is fun and also keeps you busy for a while but if your just and ordinary fighting game player and don't show much
interest in Gundam Wing it might not last that long.
Challenge HIGH
The game has a difficulty setting so it will challenge just about anyone. The game should keep you busy, as you have to fight
all the Gundams I listed above 2 or possibly 3 times each so it should keep you busy. Another thing is that you don't run out of
continues so you can continuously play a Gundam over and over until you win so it kind of makes the game a little easier but it's still hard.
Secrets:
To access the Epyon, highlight Tallgeese in either the 2-player mode or trial mode and then hit
L,L,L,L,R,R,R,R,L,R,L,R,L,R,L,R. It should activate Epyon, and you'll automatically start the game. Taken from epy0n.com
Overall: 9
I'm a hard-core Gundam Wing fan and I love anything having to do with Gundam Wing so it comes to no surprise that I love
this game. It's a rare game and I feel it was totally worth what I gave for it. It's one of the better fighters for the SNES and I think
it stands up to Super Street Fighter II.
