This section of my homepage is a glimpse into my life. It contains essays about my hobbies, life experiences, thoughts, attitudes, sentiments, and philosophies. I created this section of my homepage for those who want to get to know me better. Some of it is serious, some of it is utter nonsense. These essays are as much for myself as for anyone else, and the intended audience is people who know me rather well.
"One may have a blazing hearth in one's soul and yet no one ever came to sit by it. Passers-by see only a wisp of smoke from the chimney and continue on their way."
~ Vincent Van Gogh
"What the herd hates most is the one who thinks differently; it is not so much the opinion itself, but the audacity of wanting to think for themselves, something that they do not know how to do."
~ Arthur Schopenhauer
