Shizuoka Hobby Show 2015

Page 3

Here's the third and final page of my photographic coverage of the event.

Papercraft was on display. Frozen is extremely popular here in Japan.

Deckard and Roy from Blade Runner. If you couldn't know this without me telling you, then I probably don't like you, so shut up.

The reason why I took so many pictures of this Yamato model is because it is the Darold carrier painted up to be the Mirangal from the Yamato 2199 movie, The Ark of the Stars.

This is a garage kit of a 1:144 Rebel Transport. I've never seen this before. Neat!

Left: I always thought this Lum outfit was pretty cool. Right: Queen Emeraldas and Yuki Kei from Captain Harlock.

Right: Hasegawa Egg Planes. Egg Planes. Get it? Har-dee-har-har.

The modeler showed me up close how he cut apart the Valkyrie Egg Plane to modify it into a Gerwalk version. Pretty clever. I sure can't do anything like that!

Right: Yes, those are painted marshmallows.

Left: Apparently, this person has made a garage kit of the car from the British SF TV show, UFO.

So that's it! Thank you for browsing my photo collection of this year's Shizuoka Hobby Show. I know that too many people can only dream about attending this event, so I try to be the next best thing for you with my pictures and videos. I forgot to take pictures of Fine Molds' booth, but at least I have video of it. Check out my YouTube channel for that.
