All-Japan Model Hobby Show 2017

October 2017

Here is the second page of my coverage of this event.

Zoids.

Left: Here is the HobbyLink Japan crew doing their video coverage of the event. Right: Aoshima's booth.

They have a new series of 1:32 scale snap car models.

I can't wait to get this 1:24 scale Silent Mobius police spinner model!

Aoshima is getting into Godzilla now, too.

Here's their Macross Girl model.

These motorized Back to the Future mini Delorean models used to be exclusive merchandise sold at the Universal Studios Japan theme park in Osaka.

Right: These Mospeada kits are repops of the old Imai kits. Aoshima had released these about 10 years ago and are now re-issuing them.

Cyber Formula.

Hasegawa, YAY!

Gaia Notes sells a selection of Cyber Formula paints.

So here we are at the Bandai booth. Oh boy.

This 1:100 scale Yamato is just for display purposes. Don't get your hopes up.

This new 1:72 scale Millennium Falcon kit was literally hovering. Did they use magnets or something? It was amazing to see this.

Here's Tamiya's booth.

Left: Tamiya will release this new color of Gun Metal to use for this Mercedes kit.

FYI, Tamiya is the local Japanese distributor for Italeri kits. Their new F-35 kit looks great.

This 1:48 scale Messerschmitt is super detailed and it employs magnets for removable parts.
